چکیده
Purpose: Our purpose is to present 5-year outcomes data utilizing a nonoperative protocol on consecutive series of patients with FAI syndrome.
Methods: Between 2013 and 2016, were prospectively recruited in study. The consisted an initial trial rest, physical therapy, activity modification. Patients who remained symptomatic offered intraarticular steroid injection. recurrent symptoms arthroscopic treatment. Patient-reported outcomes, including the modified Harris Hip Score (mHHS) Nonarthritic (NAHS), collected 1-, 2-, 5-years after enrollment. We data. Statistical analysis was performed determine based type treatment.
Results: One hundred thirty-three hips 100 enrolled. Sixty-seven 50 available for follow-up. At enrollment, mean mHHS NAHS 69.6±13.1 76.3±14.7, respectively. Labral Tears and Femoroacetabular Impingement: Clinical Features and Arthroscopic Management
Context: Labral tears and femoroacetabular impingement (FAI) are increasingly recognized sources of hip pain and disability. FAI has two pathoanatomic phenotypes, Cam and Pincer impingement, and both of these lesions can cause labral tear and its associated symptoms, which can in turn lead to osteoarthritis. Hip arthroscopy is an increasingly popular technique with the potential to address thes...
